UYI Box Set Track list?

Too funny…I thought that too. I went to a few 91 UYI shows. Axl always has needed a few shows under his belt before he dials in..

It's disturbing that you can barely hear Izzy's (or Gilby's) guitar on lots of the UYI shows.

Yeah, it's weird, you could hear him okay in the intro where he's out of sync with Slash, but then he just gets totally lost. I wonder if he just had his amp turned down intentionally, because why else couldn't they mix him louder?

I don't understand, this was the same time he was still doing overdubs for the album, right? How did he go from sounding excellent on the album to so rough on the tour?

Interesting. I thought he was clean by '91? Having played in a live setting, I can say that it's often hard to hear every other instrument, so he may not have been able to hear Slash.

Izzy was a wreck....urinating on the airplane...then he started to clean himself up, and then decided to leave the band.

Yes, but Gilby was also very low in the mix. Listen to the Tokyo DVDs.

Izzy was clean when the UYI shows started. It’s why he left…the rest of the band was a mess…spectacular times!!!

Hell, Izzy wasn't even that loud on the album. I hope they'll fix that with the new remasters.

Man, what a fucking band they were on that tour... that chaotic energy but somehow still under control, just barely. This is why the UYI tour was my favorite era of the band.

Do you think that they'll release the blu ray of the Ritz show by itself? That's the main thing I want but I can't afford to buy the full box set, especially when all the audio will be available on streaming services.
Shame there won't be more blu rays of live shows of that era.

Exactly, I would definitely pay for blu rays of the 2 concerts I was at in the early 90's. And probably more.

What stuff?

The Ritz show that is included in the box set was shot on film. So it makes sense to transfer it and release it.

Are you sure every show was shot on film and is available in a quality that can be released?

The shows that we have, Paris, Tokyo, Rock In Rio and the upcoming release of the New York footage, were all filmed for either release or TV.... Doesn't necessarily mean every other show is available in that quality.

Sorry. My mistake. It's audio only and Ritz is the video part....

Anyway. I thought I saw Yesterdays from Las Vegas 1992 somewhere. I assumed it was filmed. We also had Live And Let Die from Wembley 1991.


Could be that it was just that song and they don't have the full show in the same quality as the Ritz show.
