I've should known they were going to play Anything Goes. Duff's wife played it on 3 Chords and Truth this past week and said to Duff that should play it on their tour. Duff said we'll see and how he hasn't  played it since 1991.

Looking forward to Montreal

They have rounded into a dependable touring machine.  There have been complaints about set lists in the past, but look at 99.9% of touring acts…they aren’t playing sets this long.  What a great start to the tour.

Exactly this, I saw the Chili Peppers they played for 1 hour and 40 minutes it cost £140, I pay £125 for GnR and I'm getting 2 hour 45 - 3 hour 30 minute shows.

"Perhaps" is on the setlist so we'll probably hear it very soon

I really dig that tune.  But live, it would be tough, no?

That refrain is double tracked Axl.  And on stage, you only have the one Axl.  So if Axl does the lead, that would presumably fall to Melisa and Duff to do the other part.

Just not sure how that would sound live.

Nice to see This I Love and Street of Dreams back. Axl struggled a bit with lack of lower, but it´s just the warm up. Hope he keeps them for the next shows (i suspect he might take them of).

I think he picked a setlist that can suit better his voice, finally.

he double tracked (or triple tracked) his vocals on a lot of songs, no? it never was a problem in the past for live performances, i don't see any particular difficulty here at that level. and yes like you say, Duff & Melissa can do harmonies and backing so you can have 3 vocals channels in different ranges.

plus it's not too high to sing for him these days, so I'm confident it can sounds very good

The 'Bad Obsession' and 'Pretty Tied Up' clips on YouTube are EXCELLENT.

I wasn't sure about the stance on posting them here.  But check 'em out if you haven't.

Anything Goes was played last august 1st, 1988!

Wow, unbelievable that they played "Anything Goes"!  And first since 1988!  Shocked

"Bad Obsession" hadn't been played since 1993, and "Pretty Tied Up" was last played in 1992!  Shocked

Now we just need to hear "Don't Damn Me" for the first time ever!  Cool

While id love to hear Don't Damn Me live for sure.  At this stage in his career im not sure how well that song would go over with his range right now vocally speaking. On a side note I am gonna guess we get alot more UYI songs on this particular tour considering the release of the Vinyl albums last fall.

I disagree completely.  The vocal is consistently low in "Don't Damn Me", so if anything, it would sound better than most songs.

With Don't Damn Me i'm more worried about him being able to get all the lyrics out. There's not much time to take a breath in large portions of that song.

If you mean "Don't Damn Me", I personally didn't say it was included.  I just said I wished it would be included.

Perhaps, though they performed "Garden of Eden" live in 1993, and that one is faster.  Granted, that was 1993, but hey.
