I just got my tickets upgraded to the pit this morning!  It looks like there are still pit spots available if anyone else is looking to upgrade.  I tried to get them on the onsale date, but got shut out.  The tickets are much cheaper now, FYI. I’m a local, and while Rupp is not a great building for sound mixes normally, I am glad to be in an indoor venue with a chance to be right up front.  As a kid, my dream was to see GNR from the front row…hoping this will be my third time to live that dream.

Also, for good local food, I recommend Goodfellas pizza, Tolly Ho for a good greasy burger, or Malone’s for a steak.  Not all downtown, but Lexington is easy to navigate.

I’ll be heading to KY for the show. LexLive is near Rupp and good place for groups to meet up. Are you able to swap tickets for PIT or do you have to buy a totally new ticket.

If Ticketmaster is still showing them, then you can just call them at their customer service number and request an exchange. The only rule is that they have to be equal or greater value than the original tickets. They also charge a $10 fee for the exchange, along with the difference between the new and old seats.

You may hear a little on the street.  But as an indoor venue, it won’t be very clear.   I’m hoping to be around Lex early today, but probably will miss the soundcheck timeframe.  I saw Richard posting about how Saratoga was a nice “smaller” venue…how many arenas have they played this year?  It’s been all outdoor bigger venues as I recall.

11th GNR snow and I think Axl was on point tonight. Couple of soft spots but overall awesome. Truly think his focus on getting healthy and fit is reflected in his vocals and energy on stage.  One of my fav GNR shows ever!!

Love it when the band plays “Shadow of your Love”. Good to see “Don’t Cry” made an appearance too. Love the setlists on this tour.
