I know it's been talked about before, but this is basically a lost song. Hardly ever gets a mention. I just went on Spotify and couldn't believe how low the plays are on it. 251,686! That is sad!  Axl's first attempt without Duff and Slash. I fucking love this song. Yeah, the movie was a flop but personally I think the song is brilliant. Am I the only one? lol

The reason for low plays can be that it's not available everywhere. Here in Sweden it's not.

I actually have looked a couple of times for it and it wasn't there before. Today when I wanted to listen to it, I found it.

It's not in Denmark on Spotify, but I play it at least 50 times a year since 1999 from my digital copy on my hdd!

Agree with you. Great song.

I did not like it at first, but I've since come to appreciate it. It actually rocks pretty hard and has a cool riff. Some killer lines by Axl, too. "What can I do when there's so many liars that crawl through your veins like millions of spiders".

I wish they did more with the outro though. That bit about "Like the tides out on the ocean, the wave's already set in motion" has a really cool vibe but it passes so quickly. Reminds me of the outro to CD.

It's a great song, but underrated. I don't know why they don't play it live.
Poetically, it describes the struggle in Axl's mind so vividly that while it is his experience, it sounds like me.

Great lyrics and overall a very good song. The studio version has a very muddy sound tbh. I'd like to listen to a more polished version of it (not only the vocals).

I think that might have been part of the problem. Axl was probably forced to finish early on it for the movie and he maybe was never happy with it. but overall I love it. lol

I love the song! Its not a spoon full of sugar when you first hear it, but when it gets into your ear it is amazing. I always wondered why I cannot find the official version... my conclusion is that it has not been officially released because it still sounds like a demo...

I have always sort of dug it.  I think the live version from RIR III is excellent.

But, let's not bury the lede here.  It doesn't sound one bit like Guns N' Roses.  That's going to kill whatever life it may have had.

I love Oh My God. Most underrated song in GN'R catalog.

He clearly comes in late on the outro.  But because of it, that last line is just his voice with no band.

And I think it sounds amazing.

It's an amazing song but I have to YouTube it to listen to it as its not on Spotify in the UK. Gutted as its a complete banger and the lyrics are boss.
