But they have brought them back to a landscape that is totally different from when they were here, not going to be very welcoming and probably means a lifetime in captivity. I don't know that we have done them any favors.
Research into genetic engineering, not opposed, it has its advantages and there are somethings to consider. There's things we can't know until it's done. My opinion is proceed with caution. Science has got ahead of itself before, horticulture is a good example. Let's use nitrogen and kill off weeds, good examples of, learn from your mistakes and get a better understanding of mother nature.
