On June 6, 1985, Guns N' Roses had their first official performance as a band at The Troubadour in Hollywood, California.

But the rumor of June 6 may just be speculation based on the significance of the date, not an actual source.

Duff did say in the interview something about them probably starting to play it soon.

The 26 year old vocal on the old 'Atlas' demo (which I very much assume is what we'd wind up with), Axl does at least sound good.

Got no problem with them reworking the old stuff in the can. Almost all of it Ive liked. 

The changes from Silkworms to Absurd was slightly disappointing and I wasn't a fan of the General, mainly due to the vocals. Wasn't bad but not my favorites.  Perhaos was awesome and the others were very good. So looking forward to the new reworked stuff.

Yeah I really want to hear everything they worked on from 1994 on.  I don’t care what year the vocals or drums  were recorded, if you have a good take from 1999 use it.  I’d prefer them to clear the vault of all the songs they think are good before working on anything from scratch. 

It’s seems like a long shot but I’m still hoping they throw the 1999 Appetite re-record on a streaming service or as a digital release at some point.  Would make a cool bonus cd for Nightrain fan club memberships. That along with the Illusion tour documentary footage are the holy grail for a lot of us long time fans.
