Taken from the current issue of Kerrang! This is fucking hilarious, but as you will see, Slash takes Kerrang!'s joke a little too seriously. I think you lot probably will do too, actually:

Okay, Slash, Axl Rose is back on tour and now you, Izzy, Duff and Matt Sorum are starting a band: Will the real Guns N' Roses please stand up?

"Well, our band is obviously not Guns N' Roses. The timing is a bit comical, though."

You need a singer, though. We heard you've asked Courtney Love...

"That was just a joke. But I think Courtney's fantastic. She's a great singer with a great attitude. It could've worked."

What kind of singer do you want?

"It could be anyone. We're not asking anyone to sound like Axl, we're looking for someone that doesn't sound like Axl."

Stop being stubborn. Just ring Axl...

"..."

Slash? Slash? Hello...

On Christmas day Channel 4 in the UK did a countdown for the top ten stadium rockers and GN'R were at number 3.

There were a few GN'R jokes on MTV when they presented the Blender magazine Awards. The show was hosted by Jamie Kennedy and Axl won the award for Best Janice From the Muppets Look-A-Like (Janice pic).

Later on, Buckethead won the award for the Best Performance With a Bucket on Your Head, and a guy with a KFC bucket wearing a jason mask came out and started dancing.

At the end of the show "Buckethead" came out and gave Jamie Kennedy Michael Jackson's award that he got at the 2002 Mtv Music awards.
