Camp Freddy played a show in Houston, TX and they were mentioned in news articles about the parties there.
Read them here or here.
This was posted on the Camp Freddy website about the show:
Now THAT was fun!!
Wes Scantlin and Jerry Cantrell doing Man In The Box with us, Steve Stevens and Billy Duffy on Love Removal Machine, and Matt Sorum singing LEAD vocals, down the front, doing his very best Robert Plant, on Whole Lotta Love!! It was a huge Circus tent in the middle of a field in Houston, with stilt walkers, sideshows, acrobats etc. Maxim magazine put on the party for the Superbowl, called it Circus Maximus, we played 11 songs, had a few friends play a few songs (Shelby Lynne on Feel Like Makin Love???!!!!) and had a lot of fun doing it.
Now its back to LA to put some guitars on the record.
See ya
