Notes: Welcome To The Jungle starts with Axl singing in a mocking uninterested way because he's hit with a drink. The song is then stopped because Axl is hit with another drink. He says "Is that what you want? You want it that way? If you're gonna throw shit, you know, I don't have to be here. It's all right. We can have a great fucking time, or not." The song is then restarted.

Before November Rain, Axl says "Guess this is what you call one of those nights".

After My Michelle, Sebastian sings the first line of Woke Up This Morning by A3, which is the theme song from The Sopranos.

Notes: After It's So Easy, Axl asks everybody to take a step back.

After Sweet Child O' Mine, he asks the people to take a step back again.

He then adds, "You people are fucking amazing! I didn't know what to expect. I mean, I remember a long time ago I came here and it was the rowdiest crowds we played for in the whole world so I knew anything could happen... Sounds like I'm making that shit up, but no no I remember. I remember having to throw buckets of water on the whole front row 'cause they were just out of control...Thank you. Thank you for the warm New Zealand welcome!"

Dizzy plays Don't Dream It's Over by Crowded House (a band featuring Neil Finn who's from New Zealand).

Sebastian Bach gets introduced as "Our good luck Canuck". Sebastian brings Axl a coffee called Faggs Brazilian Fiesta blend coffee.

Before Chinese Democracy Axl asks if the crowd minds if they make the show little longer.

Richard and Robin perform Endless Rain by Japanese band X Japan as part of their guitar duet.

Don't Cry is performed after the usual show ending song Paradise City.

It starts with Ron playing guitar and Axl singing. They're later joined by Dizzy, Frank and Chris.

Notes: Bubbles makes his first appearance in Japan. Axl introduces him with "You may not, you probably don't, but it doesn't matter, know who this is. But this is a friend of ours, and he plays a character on a TV show called The Trailer Park Boys. And I'm not sure if it means more to him as an actor or the character to actually be here at Budokan tonight. So that's why we're gonna go ahead and do this, and basically put us all to shame. Here we go, ladies and gentlemen, our friend Bubbles!".

The introduction is followed by a few riffs from Dueling Banjos before they perform Liquor & Whores.

Frank is dressed as Bun E. Carlos from Cheap Trick (famous for their At Budokan live album). The outfit also features the trademark dangling cigarette.
