I need to buy a new amp and since i can't afford any of those 6 foot tall Marshall stacks :-), a good all-tube amp under $500 would be nice... Is the Traynor YCV40 a good amp? Comments... Cleans are quite respectable, and you can overdrive the amp without too much problem. I went to the guitar store last year with about 1200 to spend... I played all the Fender and Marshall, and Hughes and Kettner combos... I walked outta there with the Traynor.
It's built like a brick shit house too. I recommend it, you can get some great rock n roll from that little box. |
