It's something few people notice, but great albums tend to have great titles, and bad albums have unoriginal titles. I think bands realize when they're sitting on gold, and they know to give it an appropriate name, as opposed to mediocre names for mediocre music.
Great AlbumsCowboys From Hell (Pantera)
Defenders Of The Faith (Judas Priest)
Powerslave (Iron Maiden)
Keeper Of The 7 Keys (Helloween)
Sad Wings Of Destiny (Judas Priest)
Appetite For Destruction (guess
)
Rust in Piece (Megadeth)
Agent Orange (Sodom)
Mediocre AlbumsPink Bubbles Go Ape (Helloween)
Point of Entry (Judas Priest)
The X Factor (Iron Maiden)
Undisputed Attitude (Slayer)
Louder Than Hell (Manowar)
The World Needs A Hero (Megadeth)
Get What You Deserve (Sodom)
The classic albums have awesome titled, but the lesser ones have uncreative titles. Although it's bad to judge a book by its cover, it seems that the cover and title do make a difference for music!
