you got no right is the only really good VR song in my opinion. the rest of their songs are mediocre at best. no comparison to GN'R.

Izzy's and Gilby's albums are far better than the 2 VR albums.  i personally love duff's believe in me and slash's snakepit first album its five o clock somewhere (neither can i ROCKS)

+1, specially the first paragraph (I really dont like any of the Snakepit albums)

GNR shit all over VR....problem solved.

VR have 3 - 5 songs that if done with Axl could be really, really good. However they weren't.

I thought sound wise it was similar to rooster that made  #3 in the uk chart with its debut album in 2005 and  broke up in 2007

I don't think it's fair to put the blame on Scott.  How do you explain Contraband?  That was good, in SPITE of Scott?  The blame should Be shared equally.

They wrote most of Contraband without Scott, whereas Libertad was a group effort from the start.
So Scott's influence was definitely more apparent.

yeah, i agree.  Contraband sounds like it had a Slash/Duff influence.  Libertad was the "we've grown as a band" album.  But as Faldor says, some of the blame has to be shared.  It would be great if they could get a great singer/songwriter but someone that they could also say "shut up and sing" to lol!
