While cd's cost 16.99 in HMV i think stealing music is only to be expected - a fiver for an album would be fair, at the prices they charge what do they expect. They are happy to rip us off but when we do it to them they cry foul

ps. i don't copy of the net - the inevitable virus and spyware etc takes the fun out of it

To bad you don't have a Best Buy over there. I never pay more than $11.99 for a new release.

I don't have that kind of money either, but I thought the radio was for giving bands exposure. I'm not ragging on you but you're essentially going into a shop taking an apple, eating it and only paying if it tastes good  Undecided

The radio is for angsty goth emo kids and dropout skate punks. P2P actually has a few good bands if you know what to look for. Radio has always been bad.

That's fine if the musicians allow it or approve of it, but most of them don't.

According to who?  Good musicians shouldn't worry about people downloading their music... people will still flock to the store if the album is good, and people will go to their concerts (where more money is made).

Now Izzy2, if you were planning on striking a deal with a record company to give you a "troubled youth" image and overplay your one catchy song to lure people into buying an album that's 90% filler, then you should worry!   nervous
