Move over GNR, it's all about Jim Marshall now.

You guys are not freaked just a little bit that the man who invented Marshall amps just passed away?  I can see a big tribute to him at the show.  I can see a wall of Marshall amps.  Thank God GNR will be there to pay tribute.

I think I speak for many when I say I didn't know he was still alive until I found out he died.  I don't know how GNR would pay tribute, actually don't know that GNR (however anyone defines that) will be there at all.  In any case, RIP.

Wasn't the man so much as what he created.  For years Marshall amps were the image of rock n roll, hard rock.  They are  legend in rock history.  They are the wall, the wall of sound, loud sound.  If there was more time, there could be any number of legendary guitarist show up for the honorary mention.  I can't believe the awards show would let this go by and not do a special spot.  I'm okay with Slash if the others can't make it.  GNR is a perfect kick ass band to share the spot light on a night like that.
