Hey all... sorry if this has been covered thoroughly before... I did a quick search and didn't see anything. I'm looking for the best version of The Blues to date. The one I have is Boston '02 and it's very good, but I haven't really listened to the '06 versions. Are any of them close to/better than that version?

well, that answers my question, and the answer is, nothing comes close to boston '02, at least from a sound quality and mix standpoint.

rock am ring proshot is the best 2006 version (at least the best quality, maybe not the best performance)

That's probably my favourite Chinese Democracy track live.
I would say that Rock Am Ring is the best Axl vocal performance (it's just beautiful...) and the band is very tight that night, so probably that's the version to choose. IMO the best guitar solo comes from Hammerstein 4th night.

RIR5 Axl sounds real good on it... but the mix sucks bad... I also like RIR3 a lot & Rock am Ring...
