There's an article about a contestant in Pop Idol (the equivalent of American Idol) who gets to release a single even thought he made a fool of himself with a bad audition: "Producer and songwriter Steve Ludwin has penned the (Pop Idol contestant's) track. Steve comes with decent pedigree. He wrote Warmer Than Fire for Ash and a track for the forthcoming Guns N Roses album Chinese Democracy."
