I think it's great that Axl took matters into his own hands and released a statement. That's all we really needed. It's nice to hear that there is a tentative date for the album.
I also think it was probably a good decision to split from Merck.

In the end, such a strange way to get some sort of release (tentative) date at the end of reading all of that. I'm really glad Axl decided to write that letter. I think it was essential as we all thought that the wait was over and that it was happening this time. Axl coming out and giving us all of this information has not dampened my spirits at all. It has been an awesome time over the last 6 or so months, from what I've seen and heard, it was brilliant.. and when it's back.. it'll be back with an album ? |

Wow I am excited, I can't wait. The letter to the fans not only took a lot of guts but it basically reminds me why I love this band so much. March 6th is circled on my calendar and I hope they really can finally release the album I have been waiting for  |
