Bubbles wasn't as unknown to some Japanese fans as you might think.
Here in Japan, a lot of the places that teaches English (conversation) they use Trailer Park Boys shows as teaching material.
Even though they might not have known the song Liquor & Whores, they probably knew who Bubbles is.
Fans have recognized him at the shows.
I've never seen fans that are this polite at the GN'R shows anywhere else in the world. They have a lot of respect for the band and the band members.
It's very apparent when you watch the fans while somebody plays a guitar solo.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. At the three concerts I've been to on this tour, there was a quite a big cheer when Better started and many were singing along. I found that pretty surprising too. Perhaps, the Japanese are downloading motherfuckers also...
that's good to know, lol. I've heard some people cheering when Better started in some bootleg (Chiba, 15th?) and I was like "Wow, they know better".

For those who don't know who Chopper Reid is (in the above clip), he is like an aussie anti-hero. He was a hitman, served time in prison, got his ear sliced off.......and now he writes children's books!
Eric Bana played him in a movie......and I think that it is Eric Bana in the clip.

Any chance of a live DVD? As GNR.com stated GN'R kept up the legacy of bands playing the Budokan. Perhaps they can go beyond that legacy, 3 out of the 4 released live albums, by releasing a DVD.
