Ditch the fucking IPod and go for the Sony NE-701 player, what adv. does it have over the IPod?:
1) Cheaper by abt. $50
2) Flash memory based (1GB)

Well, of course it's gonna be cheaper if it's "only" 1Gb.....

True, but 1GB is enough for most people... 4GB is overkill, unless ur using it as a portable hard drive, or insist on carrying ur entire music collection with u all the time...

Shit that's nothing, I have 4gb used up on my Dell Jukebox player and that's only about 1016 songs at 128kbps.

That "dirty little secret" is old BS. You CAN replace the battery in the iPod. There are dozens of manufacturers that offer battery replacement?
