it's a fucking awesome song, the lead lines in it from slash are stunning, and scott sounds awesome.

i tunes UK was letting people buy the album even though no tracks are listed except SBQM, and when you got it from there you got psycho killer messages and the SBQM video.

because it's an i-tunes purchase even if i sent you the track you wouldn't be able to play it as it won't be authorised on your pc's.

This song wouldve indeed been a welcomed addition to the main album.  Slash shines on it.

The only reason I can see that this wasn't included was because they wanted to keep the album fairly high-energy throughout... It would work at the end of the album, but then it would be following Gravedancer.  The Last Fight and the ELO song are both fairly mid-tempo, but this song is slow.

I was going to start a thread about this too. I have no idea why they would've left this off, I haven't heard the full song but I remember from the VLOGS it was the one song that really stood out and grabbed my attention. I thought VR were finally experimenting and trying different things musically. Maybe it just didn't fit with the rest of the albums sound. So long as it's put out i'm happy.

Ok I just heard the song and I must say that this seems to be a scott/slash song since the rest of the band pretty much takes a step back....

My Verdict

Good song, nice solos by slash and some good lyrics by scott..

*edit, Ok this songs has been stuck in my head for over an hour now, I'm really liking it  Smiley

well all i can see from looking at the UK iTunes store is a partial album "Libertad" which lists as containing the video for SBQM and a digital booklet. No mention of messages or pshyco killer for that fact .......

Please explain further .

....why in god's name did they keep this off libertad.  Not only is it an amazing song, but the album really needed an addition like this. I'm annoyed with all these special tracks being shipped off to different versions. I am starting to hope gas and a laugh or whatever its called sucks now, because  its almost depressing knowing this wont be on the official version
