I've got to be honest, I really dont see what the attraction is in paying tribute to this man, and In late 1993 Guns N' Roses was on the verge of a break-up is not true, as I do not believe the band were on the verge of a breakup. I know this because in Jan 94 Axl and Slash recorded a radio show together and made it clear that the band were still working well together with the intention of hitting the road around 96, which never happened, but just so you know. Personally I dont think this man deserves a tribute page but I praise the effort you put into it as it looks very well.

The guy is on the demos you rave about. He definitely deserves recognition. Funny how people can worship Fortus, but we've heard zero GNR contributions from him. Paul actually contributes to CD(and we've heard some of those contributions), but people complain about him.

I like Tobias. I like what he did in OMG and SFTD. I think people judge him for baseless reasons, like his performance on RIR3 (but almost nobody really thought about his rhythm guitar, bringing back some of Izzy's groove and feel). IMO, his Las Vegas performance was really cool too, from what I heard on boots.

About the site: I guess you'll don't see the Las Vegas video anytime soon. Sorry. But it's great stuff, man! Congratulations! :)

Well, actually the live performances and his The Blues solos are something, but I know what you mean.

I see a lot of people saying it wasn't Fortus on the demos, but what's the source? Really, I think I missed that. Was it an email or something?

well most of the demos were probably done before Fortus was even in the band.

either way I think Richard rocks.  :smoking:

and so does this Paul site.

I dunno about that. There's no indication of this, as far as I know. Also, people keep saying Better was written by 2003/2004, so...

I dunno about IRS, but the rhythm on TWAT is really cool. Doesn't matter to me if its Paul or Richard, both rocks hard. :)

Well, Axl did say Paul saved GNR- if it weren't for him it wouldn't have continued, so I guess he really is deserving of a page.

And let's remember, if he enjoyed touring and playing live he would probably be in the current band today. No Fortus.

Plus, a LOT of what we heard on demos were done by mr. Paul Tobias.

Fortus can be heard on the 07 leaked demos, tho.
