That's called the blues...

Hi there,

I've recorded my own version of "Madagascar" with some new interpretations regarding the leadguitar and some other, little things.

It's homerecorded, so don't expect too much; there is nor vocal line either MLKspeech. No big mastering, just recorded and mixed up a bit.

I'd be content if you give me some feedback concerning the guitar lines, the sound of the guitars, the solo and the song as a whole.

I'm working on an extra guitar line for the vocals, but I think I need at first some feedback about the instrumental version.

Thank you

It doesn't sound very bad for a home recording. I enjoyed it.

Some very small suggestions though, to my ears, in terms of volume balance etc, if you can manage it (because I know it is difficult to try to work with the limited resources you have)

*bass - try to make it less distorted if you can
*turn the lead guitar in the choruses up and add more gain if possible
*add another rythmn guitar in the left channel to add more edge particularly in the choruses and the second verse
*turn the organ up a little more in the second verse, especially where it leads to the second chorus
*turn the guitar during the solo up a little bit more, and again, try to add a little more gain to it if possible

but it sounds nice for a home project. great effort. the keyboards are good? Smiley
