David Byrne is wonderful. A brilliant man in my opinion. Anyone remember the film "True Stories" he made with John Goodman back in the 80's? They actually had it on VH1 classic the other week.

Basically he plays an outsider who goes to a small Texas town and observes the small-town residents in their small town roles and interacts with them...all mixed up with some Talking Heads music. It's hard to describe, but it's a pretty decent music oriented flick.

Hey that was an awesome article. Very interesting. It totally contradicted what many posters here have said about the music industry pay scale in the past.
