EveningTimes.co.uk is reporting that QUEEN's "Bohemian Rhapsody" has been named the all-time best song to drive to.

A radio station poll asked voters to choose the top tune to have on the car stereo from a list of suggestions by listeners.

The QUEEN track took the top spot with 16% of votes, ahead of "Sweet Child O' Mine" by GUNS N' ROSES (15%) and NIRVANA's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (11%).

"Bohemian Rhapsody" was featured in a memorable driving scene in the 1990s film "Wayne's World", in which Wayne, Garth and pals were seen cruising the streets in a car headbanging to the track.

When it comes to driving songs it seems fans go for the old classics ? with six of the top 10 more than 10 years old.

Top 10 driving songs:

01. QUEEN ? "Bohemian Rhapsody"
02. GUNS N' ROSES ? "Sweet Child O' Mine"
03. NIRVANA ? "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
04. U2 ? "Vertigo"
05. RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS ? "By The Way"
06. BON JOVI ? "Livin' On A Prayer"
07. ERIC CLAPTON ? "Layla"
08. EVANESCENCE ? "Bring Me To Life"
09. BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN ? "Born In The USA"
10. FRANZ FERDINAND ? "Take Me Out"
