Just to let you guys know...WAAF has played this song 4 times already. ?5 PM will be the 5th time.....and from what I hear it is getting massive requests. ?WAAF is one of the country's best hard rock stations. ?Anyone in or near Boston will tell you. ?The feedback there has been mostly positive. ?My brother-in-law has been listening to WAAf all day and just told me that the most common s\comment has been "the song just grows on you".

This kind of publicity is incredible for GNR.

every hour on the hour

This is getting out of hand. ?GNR has worked too hard for these "demos" to be played on public radio. no

I am from Boston. ?It is the best station in Boston. ?They have always played GNR atleast once every 3 hours for the last 15 years and going. ?They never gave up on them. ?

I am about to explode.

Not only is this the best publicity they could get, it's free. ?Word is spreading fast on this man. ?And its mostly positive. ?I hope WAAf pl;ays it non-stop till they get a cease and desist.

I do feel bad. ?They have worked hard. ?But I am excited that something positive is happening with the band. ?I mean it isn't as black and white as everyone makes it. ?Plus, we have no idea where this music is coming from. ?I am just gonna enjoy it, because it can't be stopped now. ?

WHO CARES HOW HARD THEY'VE WORKED???  PEOPLE ARE HEARING THE DEMOS AND LIKING THEM.  THERE IS MAJOR BUZZ.   rant rant rant

like jarmo said, if this was 'sentimental movie' and people were talking trash, that would be one thing, but this is a total positive thing.

their hard work is paying off, and will continue to pay off especially once the album comes out.

This just sounds to melike a planned leak. ?It is working way too well. ?And if it wasn't planned, then why has WAAF been allowed to play it all day. ?Wouldn't GNR's management stop this? ?Even if it wasn't planned, I think they see this as a tremendous thing. ?He worked hard to make a great album and to make money on his album. ?Both things are possible regardless of this leak. ?No need to feel bad for him.

They played IRS for the "Lost and Found" song of the day today at 1:00.
The caller knew it was new GN'R, but said he wouldn't pay to see the band.
The DJ said its new Axl, not GN'R.

Also, Danny Partrige was on today and said the song sucked (fuck his red ass)

I honestly haven't heard much positive about this, but I have only been listening sparatically.

Imagine if Silkworms would have leaked.

Seriously - be happy people, we've waited for a table scrap for years and finally got one.

Who knows, maybe the hype this brings will speed up the album's release.

It wasn't planned. The radio leaks were started by us, the forum posters.. Afterall.. Stern got it from someone and a hell of a lot of people e-mailed it to their local stations

I agree. If the leak wasn't intentional, merck 'n co were probably at first nervous and trying to put a stop to it spreading, but once the reaction was positive they must have figured it was actually resulting in some very positive PR and decided to ride the wave...

As much as I hate 'AAF, hopefully they'll come around after turning their back on Axl. WBCN is the rock of Boston. ok

Mistriss Carrie is the WAAF DJ, she is also the music director of the station, so she has plenty of leeway with what she plays.
