Why does this site (only) crash my internet explorer when opening certain threads?

by "crash" do you mean you get that "this page cannot be displayed" error message?

I get that alot too but I don't think it's just this site and it doesn't seem to happen on my work computer ... only on my home computer.

I don't know why it happens - probably something to do with the type of connection we're using -? but if we're talking about the same problem, just hit the back button and try to open the thread again.? It usually works on the second try.

also

after installing firefox...install adblock

and then the adblock filterset

this gets rid of so many adverts you will be overjoyed...
