Has anyone ever found a demo of estranged?  I would like to get it in a raw piano version sort of like the November Rain Demo.  Please tell me where to get it if there is one.

I have a demo version of Estranged but it's not like the November Rain paino version. I'm not sure if their a demo paino version of Estranged.  Undecided  if their is I would also love to hear it.  Smiley

A few months back I came across a supposed demo of Estranged. I got it from Kazza i think Undecided

Anyway, when I listened to it, its was really odd. It isnt so much a demo version as such but it sounds like it had been recorded from within the studio while Axl was laying down vocals  Undecided
It sounds like that cause all the music is being played perfectly. Its as if all the instumental stuff had all-ready been laid down and Axl is putting his vocals over the song. It hasnt been recorded staight from the source, as i said before it sounds more like someone has recoreded it just standing in the studio with some sort of device, its odd.

I know this sounds odd, its a bit of a mystery this one.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks alot. It sounds weird though. I hoped that there would've be a version like the November Rain acoustic demo. I prefer that one over the UYI version. But still I will go look it up on Kazaa....

there's a fake estranged demo... is a kinda karaoke who removes axl's voice and some guitar notes.... it soungs cool trought

The one at GNRunlimited sounded like someone took it down to 32kbs quality to make it sound really crappy, then added a few notes over it via guitar......other than that i think that's about the size of it.......i still have it on mp3 somewhere.  But the vocals are the same just echoed and brought down in quality........anyone can do this with windows sound recorder.

Well someone probalby traded with them for the AMAZING LOST ESTRANGED DEMO.......i mean they did the same thing with It's Alright.  You remember there was a version of that going around that Slash played guitar on but if you listen to it someone just played guitar over the audio track.  And it had the shittiest tone you could imagine..........like the guitar was ordered fresh out of a jc pennies catalog.  People do it because they crave have nothing better to do with their time.

I have a version that sounds like a demo - but only like the original in parts.....seems the drums aren't bang on in places
May be a rough version of the studio - not a finsished one recorded in other means not off the soundboard.......

i have a studio pressed demo of this it was the rare 4 minutes edit the 9 minute version and one other i cant think of right now. it was pressed for Axl and my dad got it from a guy he knows

demo w/2 edits of Estranged on it.the first one is 5:14 and the other edit is 6:37. and on the back is handwritten "Guns N' Roses Estranged edits"

the cd itself is stamped "Estranged" with the quotes. And has G n ' R off to the left of it. handwritten edit times as well.
