I think they should leave gnronline.com where it is, as a tribute to many years of nothingness.

Yep, most definitely. As great as it will be to get CD, I'll never forget how excited I was to find out about the Eddie Trunk interview and to actually listen to it LIVE. Most folks didn't manage to find out about it until the next day. As the guys on the radio mentioned, it was like talking to Howard Hughes or something. Absolutely incredible to hear Axl talking about everything. He had some hilarious shit to say. HAHAHAHA.

gnr2006 -

You have any idea why they waited until the worst day of the week to make what is a major announcement for Guns? I am excited that we finally have something, but why not do it on a day that would maximize media outlet exposure?

I doubt it. That would mean someone would have had to stay in the office way late.

I would guess sometime in the AM, right before they send this press release out.

But yeah, I'll be with you, staying up late tonight with my firefox set on auto refresh

I don't know who told you that Friday is the worst day of the week.... just cuz someone says that doesn't make it true.

I have no idea why they did this. Merck didn't say anything else in his e-mail, no explanations.
