Speaking of which, I got the promotion today, guys! I'm officially THE "flippin' manager"! I'm now in charge of making sure people are flipping burgers right, and I also get to restock the napkins.

and also the part where it says they've been playing some songs of CD at the European Tour.. they are confirming the leaks are part of CD (which I had no doubts about but anyway, for the doubters)

I definitely think the leaks were promotional. IRS was a throwaway since Piazza had already leaked a version of it. TWAT and Better were what they gave us to whet fans' appetites, to help get curiosity flowing and excitement.

Think about it - if they had started another tour all of a sudden without us hearing any material, would we have been quite as excited? A lot of us probably would have been skeptical and expected another 2002.

Also, think about how many times GN'R got their name in the news with the leaks - not wide, main headlines but they were featured in a lot of entertainment articles and got airplay...IRS peaked on the radio rock charts!

I think gunsnroses.com will use the mlb web service/servers to suport the new GNR site.

I remember gunsnroses.com took a picture of me and a few pals at the Minneapolis show in 2002.  They said it would be up on the website.  It'd be cool if they still had it and put it up.
