Personal business?  hihi

I'm guessing it's both. Any artist with a web site, it's there for their own sake.

Happy May Day, everybody dance.  I only got rid of six flats of plants and can home with two new ones.  Pretty good turn out for planting today.  If it would cool off I'd be done and I wish someone would kill the humidity.  Way too early for this kind of weather.  Good news is we have several days of off and on again rain.  Good for germinating seeds and watering what we plant.

Phebe harvested her first set of mushrooms.  Cooked up some for us to try.  Anything she cooks is good.  I bought her the last rhubarb plant they had at the co op.  That will be a new plant for us too.

Are we sure Axl knows he's got a website?  I know it's linked but he doesn't say too much on X and I don't think he has much interest in creating a site for himself.  Wouldn't surprise me if it's one of those things he just doesn't care about.

I think so. I could be totally wrong.

But the fact that the web site links to his only official social media accounts, that alone serves a purpose.

I would think there's a purpose and Axl probably knows a site was being linked but I was wondering if it's one of those things that's more business related than a personal thing.

Guns N’ Roses broke into mainstream consciousness in 1987 with their single “Welcome to the Jungle,” which introduced them to the world and made them superstars. 36 years after it was first released, that cut is on the rise on the Billboardcharts, and it’s not the only piece of music from the band that’s still incredibly popular.

“Welcome to the Jungle” is up on two Billboard rankings this week. It’s not common for many decades-old singles to appear on charts in the U.S., and even those that manage to do so rarely climb on more than one tally at a time without any major provocation.

This week, “Welcome to the Jungle” returns to the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. On that ranking of the bestselling tracks in the U.S. that Billboard classifies as hard rock when it comes to genre, the Guns N’ Roses hit reappears at No. 5. It wasn’t present on the list last frame.

“Welcome to the Jungle” came very close to matching its previously-set peak on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart this week. The catchy cut has climbed as high as No. 3, and if things had played out slightly differently this frame, Guns N’ Roses might have returned to that best showing.

On top of selling a healthy sum, “Welcome to the Jungle” is also still streaming well. The tune settles at No. 22 on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart this period. That’s up just one slot from last time around.

Guns N’ Roses claims a pair of wins on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs ranking this week. “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” which was an even larger smash on some Billboard charts–like the Hot 100–is performing even better. That cut remains stationary at No. 7 on the streaming-only roster.

The ongoing streaming and sales activity focused around songs like “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Sweet Child O’ Mine” is helping the band maintain a presence on several other Billboard lists. The group’s Greatest Hits project, which features both of those tunes–the first two on its tracklist, actually–is up slightly on both the Billboard 200 and Top Rock & Alternative Albums charts this week, lifting just one space.

The car is loaded to take the leads the plants we grew in the greenhouse for them.  I still have the plants for the renovated beds as they aren't getting planted until Saturday.  Feel bad for the parks, I only have 5 flats for them and a burlap bag of canna bulbs.  She called this morning to see when she could get them as they are going shopping for annuals next week.  Maybe Donna will send some natives their way.

Shit I could have done something with all that coleus.  Give me a minute to get some inspiration and I'll get the energy.  I went to look for them in the compost pile but they weren't there and I couldn't find where they disposed of them.  They must be on to us raiding the compost pile.   hihi

Woke up at 4.  It's planting day right after I see the eye doctor.  I ran a trunk load of clean flats and containers back to the greenhouse at 6:30.   hihi  First up is the stone bed where I put the elephant ear, canna and lobelia.  I'll hit all the containers after that.  Don't have much of a variety to fill them up so they will be mostly one kind of plant in each pot.  Marsha calls it decorating the gardens.  I call it landscaping.

That's a new one.  I hear this squeak and Terrapin jumps off the bed.  Go out in the hall and the two cats have something cornered.  Kind of looks like a baby bird but it has fur.  It's a baby bat on the ground.  No idea how that got in here.  Still alive but I don't know if it could fly.  Put it back outside.  Had to let it crawl out of the bag.

Little Boy finally showed back up and seems to have no hard feelings towards me.
