I think it's time to start this topic. I'm one of those many who saw Rob De Luca playing live with Sebastian Bach and was impressed by his show. After the concert I searched the internet and found Spread Eagle, where he came from. It's a shame they never got any bigger back then. I thought Spread Eagle was much of the past, but now it turned out they are alive and kicking. The did some shows in December and announced two more for January.
If you have the chance to go there, don't miss it!

Spread Eagle fans in Europe have launched a campaign to bring Spread Eagle to Europe. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bring-Spread-Eagle-to-Europe/178622778849255

Lou from Louciferspeaks.com has already joined and wrote a great article about it http://louciferspeaks.com/2011/03/10/bring-spread-eagle-to-europe/ (Thank you Lou!) She started the campaign to bring Sebastian Bach to the UK which succeeded in the end. So this is not hopeless AT ALL!

So spread the word, if you know any promoters tell them, this is going to happen sooner or later. I'd prefer sooner....

Are you Rob De Luca?.  hihi

Ha, only joking. But you seem to be a huge fan of this band, and I'm kind of shocked, not to be an ass or anything.

I liked Rob De Luca in Sebastian Bach's band, and he always seemed really down to earth in interviews. I'll have to check out some Spread Eagle stuff, you seem to love the stuff, so I want to see for myself.  Wink

I'm sure Rob De Luca would appreciate your efforts very much in regards to bringing us Spread Eagle news, well done.  ok

Thank you very much for your support!

You're right I am a HUGE fan. Not only Spread Eagle, I came here as a simple GNR fan and I like a lot more bands. Usually I READ news on the internet and don't post a lot. I've been reading HGTH since 2007 or 2008. It's the best community for GNR fans and simply fans of good Rock music I think. I joined when I had a major trouble with my  Myspace and was looking for for others experiencing the same.

I saw GNR live in W?rzburg in a thunderstorm back in 92 or 93, pouring rain and flashes behing the stage, roaring thunder and the gunners playing "November Rain" - priceless. I saw one more show in Munich which was shit - due to the audience. Ever since I had the great talent to miss shows Sad

The only reason I started this topic is the fact that nobody else did. GNR, Sebastian Bach and all others do fine without me. I'm actually hoping that some people might join here posting things, too.

Let me know your thoughts about Spread Eagle after you've heard them. Especially "Thru These Eyes". One of the greatest Rock Ballads ever written in my opinion. My first reaction was disbelief. I simple couldn't believe that the first time I hear this is in 2009 just because someone at MCA failed to do their job properly. And I would have never heard it without Sebastian  Bach taking Rob all around the world in his band. So a big fat thanks to Sebastian, too!

Brilliant, no need to explain yourself, you are obviously a huge fan of Spread Eagle.  Smiley

The first time I heard Rob De Luca mention Spread Eagle was on a Guns N' Roses TV special in 2007, in Austrailia or New Zealand called Asylumn TV. The interviewer asked him what bands he had been in, and he talked a little about Spread Eagle.

I will definitely check out 'Thru These Eyes', I take it you can find it online?.  Wink
