This sucks...We miss out on Sebastian Bach and get the fucking Suicide Girls?!? What are they even going to do, just get on stage and strip? I paid for music not for lame-ass live porn. I'd rather have papa roach for gods sake.

it says on the ticket atlantic site "no camera, audio or video recording equipment" so it looks like a disposable camera for me eh.
lol that won't stop anyone from taking a camera...it would be cool however if axl says: "Take that motherfucker's camera" haha

I just joined this site so I'm pretty late on my comments Tongue
But, I saw Motley Crue at the Metro Centre recently and they were really strict about not taking cameras in... My friend had his digital, and when we went in there was a HUGE pile of disposable cameras at the line up that had been confiscated, and a couple regular 35mm cams, but he took one guy aside and convinced him to let him take his cam in, b/c he said he couldn't afford losing it (too expensive) and that he didnt know the rules... buddy sa id just don't take it out... of course we did and snuck a couple pics, but one of the floor walkers (we were row 15 front of the stage) noticed and took it, and it was quite a process to get it back after the show... I wouldn't risk anything expensive, and they search everything really bad at the Metro, so I'd hide it like down your pants or something, lol, and make sure there's no metal on it b/c they use metal detectors Tongue
*Sorry for the long blurb!* Tongue
btw... my seats are 23, Row C, 1&2... any1 near me?

I didn't find them very strick because they let us in with a bunch of cell phones and we didn't bother hiding them when we took a million pics.

To answer my own question.. http://www.myspace.com/diemannequin are opening.

And as for cameras.. usually they are pretty good if you get it through the door.

so did i, first year dal (frosh 04) and also saw them open for nickleback. they were better than nickleback as far as i was concerned.
this is awesome, 4 bands.

So this isn't too shabby at all now! ?Grin

I love the trews, so I'm happy about that... Seen them a couple times, but no biggy... I'm also not so worried about Bach not making it... I saw Skid Row open for Kiss, and I'm fine with just seeing that one gig Tongue    I've never heard of the Die Mannequin before but they don't look like my cup of tea, and I'm not so excited about the Suicide Girls... But what the hell, at least we know we're gonna see one of the best bands ever and that's worth suffereing through anything! ?Wink

Daubs, where did trews play for frosh 04?
I was frosh 03, it was a pretty good time, but didn't see any fun bands play Sad

they played the quad at dal. they set the stage up pretty much where the library parking lot ends, so we were all standing on the hill part of the quad looking down on the stage. it was a pretty good set up. they did the uni circut that year.

Oh, and As for the afterparty, one of my close friends is dating a guy who works at Bubble's mansion and is close friends with the Trailor Park Boys, who are ultimately close with GNR... or at least I suppose Axl & Mike... anyway, I'd been trying to keep updated on their plans for that night, and as of yesterday they hadn't decided whether they were going to open up the bar or just keep it small and VIP... but I did hear the afterparty announced as there this morning on Q104, so I'm thinking this is really good news! Smiley It would just suck to have a small VIP only after-party when 10'000 people are pumped about them coming to town..... I'm excited!!

If anybody has any more clarified ?info on the afterparty, fill me in, will ya?

that's awesome... I don't know where I was then! Not back in Halifax yet, I guess... would have like to have seen that, though!

So has anybody decided on drinking somewhere before the show?
A friend and I are having drinks at the Lord Nelson bar first, then either Maxwell's Plum or Alehouse I think... anything exciting going on?  yes

Yup, in the limo on the way to the show!  Cool
If you see a limo pull up in front of the metro centre... relax, it's probably just me and 7 friends..hahaha
