Just realised it's 7 years since those iconic Hammerstein shows. Where does the time go?, how quick has it gone since we was all debating who was replacing Buckethead in GN'R?. All I know is that the last 7 years has been a blast and I'm greatful for seeing Guns 30 times, and I'm sure Ron looks back and also thinks "7 years?"... Happy Anniversary Ron, here's to a lot more shows for me and many, many more years of you rocking out with GN'R!!!... Cool

I was at this show at the Hammerstein.  I remember BBF coming out with his Foot guitar and our first live listen of There Was a Time and Better.  It was definately a big night for GNR fans.

Unreal to think about this... has he been in the band longer than Slash now?

Hammerstein was really a fun time that's for sure!

Likewise.  Easily one of my favorite nights of all time.  I still remember bounding up the stairs to get to the 2nd mezzanine.
I would love to know what the hell was going through the band members' heads that night.
It had been more than 3 1/2 years since the abrupt end of their '02 tour in December, '02.
It looked like a new band...and with Ron there, it was!  Axl and Finck had never looked better.  There was honest to God electricity in the air that night at the Hammerstein.  Just amazing.

Ron has been a great addition to the 2000's lineup. It has been fun to watch his growth from new guy to rock solid GN'R axe man. I also like how he's fired up to make new music with this band!
