Title: Live cover of ***COMA***
Post by: TOS--LOA on April 09, 2006, 08:22:13 PM
A few months ago my band covered "Coma" at The Continental in NYC.     As far as I know we have to be only one of a select few non Tribute bands to have done this.   Let me know what you guys think!!!!!  Even if you think we suck.

It's ok, not terrible. It does  show how versatile Axl's voice was in comparison.

Yeah, a job well done. Coma's not the easiest number to cover! : ok:

Yes, it sounded pretty good. Some parts were iffy on the vocals, and the ending of the song seemed completely changed, but it rocked.

Decent.

And yeah, the vocalist has no range.

Thanks for the feedback.  We put the song together over a weeks time as a present for a friend of the band.  We're going to perform it again at one of our summer shows and fix up all the mistakes and such.  We're also planning to play Locomotive live in the near future.  Our all original debut EP is also coming out this summer.  Check out our web site for details...

As soon as we play Coma again I'll post the recording for all to hear.
