I went to Pittsburgh two weeks ago as well and the band was tighter, Slash somehow played even better, and except for a few spots, Axl's voice was very good. Perhaps was debuted at Pittsburgh and the performance here was much improved. TWAT came out of nowhere, Axl really hit the screams at the end and Slash's solo was spot on. He hit the melodic contours of the original version but added his own twist.
At one point, Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys was behind me in the pit. I was Duff side of pit and found the sound not the best. Not slighting the band with that comment at all. I was wondering if ‘too much sound’ was hitting the pit, trying to fill the entire stadium. Or maybe it’s just my old ears. :beer:

Not as close as I wanted because we got there a little later than I wanted to because of a delay at the border crossing but caught the whole show. Soundwise, I thought it was better than when I saw them at the Rogers Center in 16, but that may be because I was in the pit this time. I was pleased with the sound from my spot. I did wish the rhythm guitars were a little louder, but I heard everything with detail.
