why do they have three guitarists, what changed from when they had only Slash and Izzy, im not sayings its a bad idea just wondering

yea i kinda agree with you i went to the show on the 15th and bumblefoot seemed out of place, he was good and all it just didnt seem right

I don't know, but I think it's cool. I will say that Ron Thal played awesomely with the band. He did a lot more in the shows than the Bucketed one (not trying to start a fight, though). I'm sure a lot of the new songs will have room for all three...

I agree Bumblefoot is amazing, hes a fan friendly guy, everyone i met at the show said he was cool as hell and down to earth.

Guns has 3 guitarists now to achieve a certain sound. ?Alot of the sounds you hear on UYI and AFD, slash would go back and record over some parts. ?So the sense is that by playing with three guitarists live you can get that sound Axl wants to have.

Because Axl wants three. If the new songs are formatted for three guitarists, have three guitarists. Also, it lightens the amount of solos each has to learn. They split the load, and the boots from the shows seem fine with three guitar players.

 Maybe they just need a Gimmick. look at their history. There was Slash with his Top hat and Cigarette, then there was Buckethead with his Bucket , Now you've got Bumblefoot with his cheesy Guitar and whatever else makes him unique. Axl obviously likes dudes who can bring a gimmick to the table. Something quirky for people to get into.

well the answer is for them that people left and wanted to rejoin so they ended up with 3.  But for gnr maybe it just gives a great sound which it does

i was just about to mention the IRONS, it gives adesired sound, but to me, you dont need jannick, where as G N R need all three im guessing
