Can't we still speculate on this? At least he posted a link so we can see what bands are confirmed to play there. Or was there a thread about "Rock in Rio 2008" already (and I don't mean the rumour about GnR going to tour South America because it's a different thing)?

Sorry to break it to you but RIR 2008 will take place in Madrid not in Lisbon. And yes, I heard Lenny Kravitz is confirmed.

*edit # 2* I skipped most geography classes but isn't Lisboa in Portugal? At least Madrid is definitely in Spain...

BTW, why is the website only in Spanish, I thought RIR is kind of an international thing already?! The only word I can understand is "newsletter". And I don't want it if it's in Spanish too!

Last time GNR was announced for RIR was the 20. Feb...

you could of said that about rir 2006,
they played rir 2001, and then again in 2006 , but no record between 5 years?
isnt that a joke then?

If I have a choice to see gnr live or not, I would choose to see them live...
