I cannot believe anyone would bag out the fact there will be BONUS tracks remixed by Gilby!

DVDs with NO BONUS features.. you complain (rightly so)
GH with NO BONUS tracks.. you complain (rightly so)
This comes out with BONUS tracks.. you complain!!!!

Anyway its cool that this record co. are bringing these out.. ill get it for sure! And Gilby's remixes will be interesting to listen to im sure  ok

Wonder how this record co. got this stuff?  Huh

I am just saying that traditional Cleoptra Remixes suck and are usually industrial dance mixes - we'll have to wait and see - no slagging - just trying to warn

"Someone has sand in their vagina" - Cartman

I could not imagine Gilby making them into industrial dance mixes

I propose we start a countdown to when Axl takes legal action...  Grin

I'm interested in it, how can I get it in the UK?

... it all sounds a bit dodgy to me  Wink

What`s Gilby C. got to do with old GN`R material? - nothing, thats what!   Grin

It all sounds like some high profile bootleg "Let`s get Gilby C. involved, that`ll add some weight to the release, should help shift afew more units"  Wink

I guess it proves one thing, Gilby ain`t got much on at the moment  ok

Oh dear god!!!
After a mere 13-ish years there is an  interesting GNR related product with a release date on not-so-distant event horizon. I hope Rose/Izzy/Geffen/major Gods are ok with this and don't initiate any stupid legal..extravaganza.
It would be interesting to hear some more info about the whole thing from Gilby/record label.

They were released on a japanese bootleg called Hairspray Heroes some time ago.

And btw, Cleopatra is not a bootleg label per se, it's just a very small label that releases lots of tribute albums (Appetite for reconstruction for example).

This is cool, but  I think it would have served a better purpose as being a small part of an official GnR boxset (if they ever release one).

And I'm going to give it 10 minutes before someone on this board suggests that this release is actually "CHINESE DEMOCRACY IN DISGUISE"

Yep, Cleopatra is not a bootleg label...it's an actual record co.; it's an indie label and they have already published lots of material from The Damned for instance. They are also responsible for "Appetite For Reconstruction" (Tribute, 1999) and "Rock Tribute to GN'R" (2002, Tribute).

So, Hail Caesar, indeed.

Newly Remixed By Fred Coury: Move To The City and Reckless Life.

WOW!!! All this talk of Gilby remixing tunes, and no one mentions these 2 gems remixed by none other than Cinderella's drummer Fred Coury!! hihi

It just brings flashbacks of disappointment when the first time I saw Guns n' Roses at the UIC Pavillion in Chicago opening for Alice Cooper, and freakin' Fred Coury was playin' drums since Adler had a cast on. Angry

Gilby and Coury might be involved in that compilation because they both worked with Cleopatra Records in the past on GN'R tribute CDs.

True, and they can also put a sticker on the album saying the tracks have been remixed by "Ex Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke".  hihi

Gayces High punks got those songs in the 2nd or higher place not before. the "new" old songs (rocker etc.) were spread by original HR source 5 months before that.
Gayces High never tell exactly sources by the way, so their release could be high gen CDR or mp3.

That's why we can hope that the "official" release will have a better sound  Smiley

Yay!  ok I'm much more excited about this than GH.  I'll actually purchase this one! Smiley  I used to have some of these songs on a demo tape back in the day, but lost it many years ago.  Undecided

Yeah I hope so too! That would kick ass!! Too bad they left out "That Something" and the untitled track but that's still a hundred times better than the GH CD. ok

Hi there Will, I am new here and I want to thank you SO MUCH for sharing those songs on www.gnrfrance.net.

Tell me, please, besides Rocker, Killing Time, That Something, Untitled, My Way Your Way, Shadow of Your Love and Wreckless Life, is there any other Hollywood Rose that you know?

Thanks!

Not that I know of, but I'm pretty sure there are more songs in the vaults... Wink The song "Your Looks Are Gone" was supposedly recorded by Hollywood Rose but the sound was so bad it was too hard to tell if it was Axl or not who was singing.
