'Absolutely'

WEll I thinks its great that axl and merck decided to actually speak to us directly BUT why does it seem the only time we get a press release is when something bad happens... ie axls bites a cop, or a show gets cancelled. It would great if they just let us know what the real plan is... i mean we've stuck around for 15 years with no new material, a simple

"hey guys were mixing better and TWAT right now... finck's solo is going to blow your mind!! Can't wait to get it to you guys for december, feb the latest! Hang in there guys 'soon is the word" axl

The only time we here from them is when shit goes bad and they feel the need to justify their actions. They wouldn't need to that if they'd just drop us a quick line once and a while.

Although I do very much appreciate the update! Thanks for having an awesome site Jarmo! You da man!

Well, If "someone" happens to be reading this, be it Merck, Beta, Axl, Sebastian or anyone else associated with the greatest tour 2006 has seen. Thank you. As I have said before, I have always, and will always support this thing. I have done my best with trying to spread a positive vibe among the "fans" and will continue to do so. I can not wait ofr Minneapolis and Reno, once again I will have the time of my life rockin' out to the greatest band in the world Wink

great post...I agree with them 100 percent...i was at the meadowlands show and it was great....i am sick of the negativity of people on this board, especially the ones who ARENT EVEN GOING TO SHOWS!!!!

Conversely how can people say something positive about the shows if they ARENT EVEN GOING TO SHOWS?  I am sick of people blindly believing that everything is going great out there.  Should their posts be deleted too??

I respect GnR, but I wouldn't exactly say I have 'connection's with them (except for Axl wearing my flag in Glasgow Grin) ?I mean how does he know/what contact does he have...with GnR and management?

I'm not starting anything, I'm just curious

good stuff.   That statement convinced me that there was a good basis to cancel the show.  Nice, open communication.

The whole censorsing "misinformation" thing I completely disagree with.  The way to handle that is through an open forum where informed people can correct misinformed ones.   Unilaterally deciding and removing opinions you don't agree with creates a coercive environment, in my view.

I appreciate them taking the time to apologize to us; however, it still doesn't change the fact that I left Monday night for a GNR concert and didn't recieve one. I would like to see them reschedule the concert. There are other places they could play besides the civic center.

I'm guessing that everyone in the GnR camp just want to put this "bump in the road" behind them. ?I mean if this whole ordeal was gaining enough attention on HTGTH to warrant a response from Axl, than they probably just want to avoid as much of the compaining as possible. ?This would definitely be logical, at least in my opinion,
