That was a made up conversation over at MyGNR.  They generally do decline to be live streamed.

Which is pretty meaningless knowing that they will never publish anything and that people are recording anyway and uploading videos on yt.  Not that i care btw.

Artists have the choice. Either they agree to have their show streamed without any control of the quality, or not.

For example, GN'R has their own audio crew making sure it sounds great. Who ever mixes the stream might not be a GN'R crew person.
