Title: what is the differnece between the following positions
Post by: anythinggoes on June 16, 2006, 10:39:18 AM
Admin
HTGTH Crew
Global Mod
Board Crew

Or is it a big secret?? Just curious to know.

Admin = me

The rest are basically a way for me to keep moderators in different user groups. Handy when I need to e-mail certain moderators and not all of them....

Obviously a Global Moderator can lock threads anywhere while a "regular" one can't...

We dont talk about that much. Its not something Jarmo's proud of so he doesn't talk about it. Just go rent the movie Sybil, that should explain everything.

You know, there's enough power in us board crew to seize control I tells ya!

Wha?? Who's the other admin?

I didn't get the answer to that question so easily, so neither are you my friend.  >:(

Well it's obvious.  In an emergency you need someone close by to step in to the position....

...it's the Gimp (Arron) in the basement right?

Now that's interesting... I've always thought all of them could lock threads.

I'm going to guess that you missed the 'anywhere' in your reading.

If you have a problem with the fact that we have moderators, you're free to leave.

Nobody bosses anybody around because they like it. It's because sometimes people "forget" we have rules or are just plain lazy.

Well well well...does this mean there is a phantom mod who has no green or blue stars and just casually blends in with the rest of the posters?

Stop trying to confuse Jim!  ;)

He's already confused enough. It's not easy being a goth. He has to decide what to wear every day. His black outfit or the other black outfit.

Err.................

I meant your "this is what [you] meant," this is what you meant, what? The anywhere made the sentance make sense, only a reading without it would cause confusion!

I have it under good authority that I was wearing a blue t-shirt today.  >:(
