Haha! Wow....that's unexpected! Given the local theme to pretty much every single litho, and the Ali link being a gift in my view!

Looks like a bottle label but can't be too close to any real brand.  I really like it except for where is says KFC because that would be a really nasty drink!  I wonder if some of the artists are required to list the venue.  Remember the Seattle "Sonics" litho had the phone company name ridiculously big.

Just got home(about 50 miles from Louisville)- absolutely phenomenal show.  Axl sounded incredible with a lot of rasp in his voice.  Slash was playing like a madman.   A lot of smiles on stage tonight, from my view(row M behind the pit on Slash's side).  This band was incredibly tight and seemed to be having a lot of fun onstage.  They went on at 7:43 and PC ended at 11:13.  3.5 hours is an insanely long show, but they looked fresh throughout.  It was neat to hear Prostitute, Catcher in the Rye, and Madagascar.  I have loved GNR every step of the way, but the CD songs have a new life and energy to them now.  The place was packed and the crowd was loving it.  Axl got a laugh out of the fact that in Kentucky, we have an arena named after KFC-  "That's just awesome that you have a KFC Yum arena.  That's just awesome!"

I have to agree with all of those that can see that these guys are having fun.  Slash would extend his already extended solos and you could see Axl smiling as he did it.   I have high hopes that there may be more great music ahead.

I've seen Axl with the CD lineup, Slash and Duff with Velvet Revolver, Slash with MK &C, and this lineup last year in Cincy.  With that said, this was probably my favorite show that I've ever been to.  There were little hiccups(a timing issue that led to a restart on CITR, Axl got a little off time on Coma), but aside from that, these guys were musically brilliant.  Slash and Richard are a guitar tour de force and Duff is as cool as ever.  I was really impressed by how much Frank has locked into these songs especially on the NITL tour.  If you think  there's a better band out there right now, you need to go see this tour- it's truly amazing.

great review. thanks for posting this.

it's funny to think that a little over a month ago the haters were saying this band is done. their tired. they have no motivation. they may not be getting along well anymore. they've been touring too long. they're getting old. they need a long break.

from what I saw and from numerous reviews like this, they are firing on all cylinders and continue to push themselves by getting even better, playing even longer shows, and adding new songs to the set list. awesome stuff!!!
