Well I admire your hardwork Origin but...I'm not sure about the evidence.
How can you tell from the pic that it's a Japanese/Chinese Bandana?

From NIN. com

Well, I lost the bet to Rob... I was SURE you people would have found the secret in the 3_16_06 picture INSTANTLY. You've all let me down.

Who he means by 'you, people'? the people at the NIN forum? Huh

i think so. maybe the nin fans in general?

someone should email him and tell him that the gnr fans are that bored, that they found his hidden secrets hihi...

edit:  some gnr fans.... hihi

hihi Who are those gnr fans that found the secret?
Maybe Trent/NIN is challenging Axl/GNR?
I just hope trent is not asking our BH to join NIN, being impressed with BH's job on the leeked demos. confused

i didn't know josh is playing for nin now.

i wonder what's up with all the GnR references in these pics. maybe trent knows something? they are on the same label, so maybe trent knows what's up? who knows, it's sure strange though.

if anything, the pictures are meant to make fun of fans who complain about having to wait 5 years for a nin album.  i can't think of anything else that's reasonable.  trent would never even ask buckethead to join nin - he's way too boring and doesn't quite fit in with the nin look.  and from what i know about the bands that trent likes and deems worthy of asking to work with or open for him, he would never collaborate with or tour with gn'r.  maybe a festival, but not a full-fledged tour that's worth photoshopping pictures for.  the pictures are interesting, but i don't think they are anything more than a joke.  after all, in the fall they had a photo that hinted that meg white (the white stripes) would be their new replacement drummer after jerome dillon had to drop out.  so a joke wouldn't be anything new.  and also, when you join the spiral you're paying $30 a year for just a forum - it also includes concert webcasts, chats with the band, early ticket purchase dates, entry into sound rehearsals before the concerts, etc.  they wouldn't be able to give all that away for free.

NIN toured with guns in the 90s.
Axl's a big fan of them.

Aaron North is the new GNR guitarist, and Buckethead observes from afar?  Something to do with the red bandanas in the pics?  There is a "secret" in each pic located at http://www.nin.com/current/index.html ?  Confusion...   Huh

how do you know there's a 'secret' in EACH pic?

So far there's only 3 pics....  do you have a source saying there is one in each pic?

yeah, nin did tour with gn'r in '90, but that was because axl's a fan and nin had just formed and probably wanted some exposure.  from what i've read, it was a horrible experience - according to trent, they were booed and jeered at as soon as the audience realized that they weren't skid row.  so yeah, my bet is that it was just a mere bet with rob sheridan to see if the fans would notice the connections.  if you keep thinking nin's doing something big with gn'r you will be dissappointed.

I know about the NIN/GNR tours..
I read a funny trent interview where he goes: we'd get on stage and 1st song they'd listen and her syth and would think that's accident.
2nd song, they'd still be processing what's going on, and when the 3rd song came, they'd go "IT WAS SYNTHISIZER" and then they'd go "ATTACK" rofl

I think that one's just A BIT of a stretch....

i don't think there's a secret in EACH pic, unless someone can cite a source on this

the 3 that we see are all fairly obvious

yea, i don't think it's a bandana, it looks more like a hat to me (i think i can see the curved part of the bill)

EDIT: but that guy does look photoshopped in, and it kinda looks like Axl with his beard and a hat on...  do we know of any pics where Axl is wearing a white hat with red something on it?  I looked at the JFK pics but he's wearing a red hat there...

I think I was the only person at Wembley in 1991 who actually appreciated them. crying
