Did anyone ever bring up the Guns N' Roses reference in Arrested Development Season 2?

Well, I decided to wait for the DVD's to watch seasons 2, and I finally finished them.

Anyway, in the episode, "The Sword of Destiny," Ben Stiller plays the magician "Tony Wonder."  He wants to make a magic video and call it a use your illusion.

The conversation is between Gob and Tony:

G.O.B.: You want us for Use Your Illusion?

Tony Wonder: Actually, some band has got the rights to that title, so I?m thinking like Use Your Illusion 2.

He ends up calling it Use You Illusion A.

I saw that episode when it aired for the 1st time, and the second he made the Use Your illusion reference, my wife and I looked at each other, and she knew what I was thinking.  She knew I wanted to go to HTGTH and share it with you folks...but I thought better of it, and held back...now I regret the fact I've lost the glory.   Cry

That show is terrible and its not even funny in the least.  I saw a few eps and its just bland.

This time I won't lose the glory!!!  I'm watching The NFL Today on CBS, and they just used Right Next Door to Hell's opening riff in a video montage.  The glory is finally mine!  I like the Fox network's pre-game, but the GNR keeps me coming back to CBS.  Someone's got to find out who this GNR fan is over at CBS...he or she rocks!

I get that type of humor just fine, and its still not funny at all. Dennis Millers humor was aimed at the same type of people yet he is actually funny. So your point is?  If you want to see a really good show go watch House MD, and get back to me.

Been there done that before... yeah our wives say what a god damn loser rofl My wife understand my love for gnr but she understand my love in the past, she thinks I'm nuts following this new stuff
