some kid in my school insists that the new korn single.. 'Word Up' is a guns n roses cover.. i hadnt heard of it.. ever.. so can somebody clear this up?

I remember that from the 80's. I think it was someone called Cameo who did it originally

Then a Scottish band called Gun covered it in the 90's

ONE of the versions of "Word Up" (I think the Cameo version...coulda been the gun version...not sure) was the basis for an old Cherry Coke ad campaign.

I am not at all a fan of Korn but I really like their cover of word up. They also have been playing on the radio he cover korn did of the wall by pink floyd which is even better.
