Dude. I beg you to give the first Matrix another try. Sure, if you didn't get through the first one the first time then you'll probably hate the second and the third.

But everything about The Matrix rules! Best. Action. Film. Ever. Well, asside from maybe Die Hard and True Lies........

But, seriously. It isn't a high concept film. I know very few people who didn't have their minds blown when they saw it for the first time. Though, I guess that was back in the day...........

Seriously. Watch it on your own, even.

Me, I loved all three. But I can see why people detested the second and the third. I cannot, however, gage why anybody would not love the first!

I remember going into the theatre skeptically. I was surprised at how good it was.

Yeah, i might.  Maybe it's because i was watching it on Channel 5, the reception for it in my room has always been ropey, maybe on a widescreen tv sat on a comfy sofa i might enjoy it.  I have limited time for Keanu Reeves though.  Point Break & The Bill & Ted films aside, i'm not a fan, at all.

And on the subject of great action films, good call with True Lies, Bill Paxton rules in that Cheesy

One of my fave action films is Con Air, great no brainer fun, i constantly argued with my media teacher in 6th form telling him that film is wonderful, he despised it though.

"Define irony: a bunch of idiots dancing around on a plane to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash." hihi

Speaking of DVDs, the Baywatch series are gonna be released in the near future, starting from Season 1, i best get saving....... Cheesy

I've been stocking up on the classics (the classics of 80's Horror movies, that is).  The last time I went to Best Buy I picked up:

- Friday the 13th
- Nightmare on Elm Street

...Now if I could only find Tobe Hopper's "Eaten Alive" I could die a happy man...

Rocky 2 Disc Special Edition

I cannot wait to watch this with Stallone's commentary!

Also u get a free Movie ticket to see Rocky Balboa, thats a 10 dollar value, so I paid 20bucks for the special edition but take away the movie ticket and its like I got it for 10 bucks.

Rocky 1 has to be one of my top 5 films of all time. It is so amazing.
