my friend watches it randomly in college sometimes.

Looked like it had alot of conspiracy ideas.

The bit bout the states being ruled by 3 peeps or something was rather interesting

GMT +1.  ;)

Zeitgeist is considered one of the best documentaries out there dealing with the occult (hidden) history. You are shown that Christianity is not an independent religion, but rather a mosaic of pagan traditions, ultimately going back to sun worship, constructed by the Romans to bring as many cultures as possible under one rule and religion. Very insightfull, and most of it completely true.

Second part is 9/11. Good enough, but you'll find better stuff out there on that aspect.

Third part is about our monetary systems, and this is where it gets really interesting. You are shown how banking came about (a fraud, simple as that) and how the system consistenly funnels resources to the top levels unvariably leaving the people in perpetual debt. Very good and very relevant. The docu 'Money Masters' on Google Video is another one expanding on this. Definitely check them out in regards to the current financial crisis.

All in all the message of this film and others in the genre is that we have all been played by the elites since time immemorial. It's time to wake up people, demand what's yours. If the time was ever right it is now. There is no democracy, there is only business.
