Sebastian Bach was featured on this past weekend's (Saturday, April 30) episode of VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show" at 11 p.m. ET/PT. You can now watch the entire episode below.

On touring with Guns N' Roses he says:

Sebastian Bach: Axl Rose has helped me more in this industry than anybody else.  When he's late for a show -- he's trying his best to get his pipes going to walk out there and blow all you away.  And people don't understand that it's not as easy as you might think it is.  And he is warming up, and getting ready, and doing everything he can, to make it happen.  He's not watching TV with the remote with his feet up while there's people -- he's doing everything he can to get on the stage. (And he's doing like 2 hours and 45 minutes, 3 hours shows) Yeah, when he gets out there everybody loves it.  They might be a little bit late -- why can't you stay up, it's rock n roll.

agreed. When I saw them for the first time in Saint John, New Brunswick back in 2006, they were a little over an hour late. People were starting the usual " they aren't showing up" speech, and I kept insisting they would show and it would kick ass and no one would care about the wait. Soon as WTTJ started the place went nuts. They played until around 2AM. Best night ever Smiley

Do people really think he's watching tv thinking like.. " fuck all my fans out there waiting "  Huh I hope not...

So very true. I am not a late night type of person, but when it comes to going out and seeing a band, I want it to go all night! I can remember going to see Def Leppard in 92. I was home by 10!!! And I had a 45 minute drive. I felt cheated! lol

As for Baz's comment on Axl helping him out. Love and Loyalty. Two of the most important things in life.

It wasn't the staying up late that was the problem.  It was the fucking drive through South Dakota at 3AM, man is dark out there.  Next time, I'm bitching if they don't stay on stage until the sun comes up.  hihi

Yes we did have this headline before, and not so long ago either. I think it was an interview Baz did like in 2007-2009, and the article was given this same title.

Regarding the interview, I have to say that it's always nice to see Sebastian talking so positively about Axl and GN'R.  Smiley

Well, it wasn't exactly the same title. hihi  This is obviously a different interview -- but he still must feel the same way. Smiley

So good to see someone talking positive things about Axl! Bach kicks major ass!

He's so damn right about the "getting on stage late" issue.

This is rock n' roll, not an 8-5 office!!!!

Is it taking too long to the band to get on stage? Missing something? Go watch Coldplay or have fun with your boss!!!!!!!!!

I am just glad we weren't staying at my campground. You think it was dark on the highway! I have traveled that road into the park in the dark and fog so thick you can't see 5 feet. Not too cool with Buffalo roaming. lol

Yes it was the same article I remember...but it?s nice to read it again.
I don?t think that Axl and GNR looks TV or do something against their fans.I think they need a few time before they can get on stage and plays more than 2 hours ...

It's not the same article. confused  I just gave this thread/interview a similar title because he said it again.

This is a new video interview Sebastian did with That Metal Show.

The other is a print interview from 2006 with Rock My Monkey.

Sorry for the confusion. hihi

I'm not trying to dick around with this, but I think this band should have on its tickets, "Won't  be starting before..... " (whatever time) instead of the the starts at (whatever time) It would at least alert the casual fan ( but much welcome for their financial contribution) that they might have a wait.

It would be unique, it would be the kind of statement that says "we're different but don't expect too much sleep tonight" something that has attitude and is so Rock n Roll.
