I've got a brand spankin' new Gibson LP Classic with the 490-500 pickups. These are Gibsons hottest. I know Slash uses SD alnico pro deuce on his. But does it really give it that thick tone. I've got a Zoom 505II and a Boss ds-1 but I can't get that level out of either. Does he run straight through to his Marshalls or does he use any pedals.
