Man, this thread is dead! Having an unremarkable president is great.

I wonder what that last guy has been up to?

Well, I'm sure it's not a pattern...

Trump just had his house raided by the FBI.  Focused on the big issues like abortion rights.  And how politicians are trying to divide us into campus instead of bringing us together.

You know, I want to vote for the independent guy but it takes away votes from the democratic person who can't beat the republican guy without those votes.  But I can't play the game even if it means losing.

Losing the Country to Socialism & debt would be something to consider, in my opinion?

Republican?

We lose when we continue to make it us against them and not pull together.  How can you call it a win when almost as many are dissatisfied?  Weak policies, those supported by only one party, can be over turned with a change in political leadership.  I would like to see policies that have a mix of support from both parties with more than a simple majority when the vote is taken.

You know, it's idealistic but you keep the expectation high and it moves towards that goal.

I went to vote early.  The parking lot was full and there was a line.  I'll go tomorrow but I wish I could do this online.

He's definitely had an impact.  I don't think Russia would have invaded the Ukraine if that "crazy mother fucker" had been in office.  I'm interested to see when the political race really gets going if something changes on that war front based on looking like Trump is going to get back in office.  Or if China backs off of Taiwan.  There's something about having a dick in office that makes other countries just want to keep it on a level plain and wait it out.  Not with the mideast though.  They don't give a flying fuck what the rest of the world has to say about their doings.

So what happens if either one of these guys dies or withdraws from the race before the presidential election?

No? Google the kerch strait incident. This stuff started while he was still president. If he's going to win in November he needs to win back the independents. They broke hard for Haley last night. By almost 20 points. They were not voting Haley because they want her, they were voting against Trump. If he loses independents that much it will be a landslide. There's warning signs for Trump all over the place after Iowa and New Hampshire.

I read that incident, asserting authority but don't know if they would have went any further but I don't know the history that well.

Yeah this is going to be another election where you are voting against something and not for something.
